What is the hem length? I need a little more length and want to know if there is an inch hem for that purpose.

There isn't any extra length. They also shrink up about an inch when washed. For me that's still okay for a casual pant (I'm 5'4") but a taller person might find them too short. Before washing they were a little long in the front and about right in the back. I debated whether or not to get them hemmed when I first got them, but I'm very glad I didn't.

I wish they had been a little shorter. But then I am a petite length. I will have to hem them at least one hem length before I wear them again. The hem is roughly an inch deep. Other than that, I loved them and will probably buy another pair or two.

Hem length on the pair I purchased is about 1/2 inch. I don't remember exactly, but if they offer petite lenth, I would have ordered that.. I had to turn them up 3 inches so suspect they weren't petite. Good luck. Lynne

BEST ANSWER: I, too, wear a size 4 and the waist fits perfectly. The thigh area is a bit too wide and I am having them altered.
