I have diabetic neuropathy and need support stockings. The texture feels rough and painful. Would the sock liners fit snugly enough to wear under the support stockings? I need a very silky texture, extremely smooth toe seam, and non-binding top. would the calf or knee length work better? me medical grade support stockings are thigh high. I wear an 8 1/2 narrow shoe and have slim legs.
BEST ANSWER: we buy these for our son. He has no use or feeling in his legs so I can't answer about the smooth toe seam or binding top, The top is fairly wide which may be an advantage for you. I just know they work well under his braces. They are tight fitting and thin enough they don't cause him pressure sores of any kind or problems with bunching. These are the only socks we have purchased for many years.
