I live in Los Angeles, so this is perfect for a summer evening out when paired with a shell. The lily print is quite large, so this is not scaled for a "petite" or "fail" frame unless you have a large enough personality to carry it off. I did not find the fabric to be flimsy and believe it to have a very nice hand feel. My jacket did not have any construction issues, so perhaps it is luck of the draw.

I was disapointed in the weight of the silk. I thought it would be more substantial and it could have been made better.

Fabric is lovely but the overall quality is poor. I thought it was quite expensive when I was ordering it but loved the fabric pattern, but having received it I definitely think it is WAY overpriced for the quality. As for sizing, I too find it fits really small. I will be returning it.

Anyone who finds this fabric "flimsy" just doesn't understand charmeuse. It's light and airy, as charmeuse always is. It irons like butter and doesn't wrinkle on me or in my suitcase, which is one reason I love silk for travel. Iron once, wear many times, machine wash, hang dry, quickly press, and you're on your way. Charmeuse is not delicate; it can take strong stain removers and come out looking like new every time, and last for many years. This garment was perfect for a meeting where I wanted to look dressy but not formal (with a silk shell underneath), and will work well for church, restaurants, and social functions. With a tank top or more casual shell, or maybe even a tee, it would work well with jeans, too. I'll pair it with a silk mock turtleneck in the fall and again in early spring. I love it and expect to enjoy it for many years to come, which will help offset the fact that I do think it's a bit overpriced.

The picture made this look to me like a more casual top to wear over a short sleeved to 3/4 sleeve shirt/blouse. However when i opened it , it looked more like a dressy material and as I was going to the Symphony that evening, I ironed it and to wear with one of the other tops #71705. I have a collection of small fascinators and rose pins so added a brown rose pin with cream and pink ribbons [looked like it came with the jacket] I wore it to close the jacket at waist level. I put a turquoise feather fascinator in my hair.Wore brown pants and carried a small brown purse with a large chiffon rose on the front. Lots of compliments. I also bought item # 71050 in teal but that will be for warmer weather.Didn't think it looked cheap AT ALL. Loved all three pieces. More on them under their numbers [ 71705 and 71050] Don't know if the jacket in berry color would go with 71050 also in berry color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Professional1 Size and Quality Issues
This product, which looks very luxurious in the pictures, is actually very flimsy and cheaply made. Seams are not finished well, and it is sized extremely small from what it is represented to be. I thought I would be able to use this in my professional wardrobe, but it is not fit to wear, much less professionally! Do not buy this if you want to look professional.
